European Data Protection Supervisor Giovanni Buttarelli published his recommended proposal for the data protection regulation today (27 July)

A group of data protection authorities from EU member states will meet later this month to prepare for a first review of the agreement in Washington, in what will be a make-or-break check on whether President Donald Trump’s administration will stick to the agreement.
